Description

Warm and comforting oatmeal made with whole rolled oats, topped with naturally sweet dried figs and crunchy sliced almonds. Excellent source of fiber.

Ingredients

45.0 g Rolled oats
240.0 ml Almond milk
30.0 g Dried figs, chopped
15.0 g Almonds, sliced
0.5 tsp Cinnamon
5.0 ml Honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine oats and water/milk in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce heat to low.
  3. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until oats are tender and creamy.
  4. Stir in cinnamon.
  5. Pour into a bowl and top with chopped figs and sliced almonds.
  6. Serve warm.
